The surface of each lamp is made of soft silicone , which means that when squeezed, the lamp changes shape and then returns to its original shape after a few moments. The lamp uses a CR 2032 battery, and it lasts for about 15 hours or about 900 full lighting cycles. When the battery runs out, it can be replaced by unscrewing the base of the lamp and replacing the battery.
