The M77, also known as Norwegian combat boots, are among the most renowned military boots in the world and also our top seller. They are so legendary that they are even mentioned on the Combat Boots wiki page. It is therefore no great surprise that the Norwegian media recently covered the story of a former soldier who tattooed M77 boots on his hand. Additionally, technology speaker and creator Morten Rand-Hendriksen reviews the M77 boots on TikTok, gathering over 400,000 views. He even calls them ‘the best boots you will ever buy’.
The first M77 version was delivered to the Norwegian army over 50 years ago, and several NATO armies still rely on M77 boots today, including Norway. Developing the M77 boot took ten years, as the Norwegian army had strict demands for the boots’ durability, comfort, weight, and moisture resistance. Furthermore, it was essential that the boots are easy to maintain. The result is straightforwardly comfortable, breathable, and water-repellent boots made only from thick 2.8–3 mm full-grain leather, steel, and polyurethane. The anatomical insole is shockproof, antibacterial, breathable, and washable.
And most importantly, they are durable. Just keep the boots well oiled. Like full-leather boots, breaking them in may take time, but once broken in, they are the best possible. These boots are unisex and designed for both men and women. The sizes are large and intended to be worn with thermal or even double socks. Additionally, if you plan to use them in freezing winters, we recommend our specially made inner socks for the M77 boots. In summary, they are probably among the best boots in the world in terms of price-quality ratio.
