The 550 Green / Olive hiking boots are made at Samelin's shoe factory in Estonia. They are designed for hiking in Nordic climates, but as Samelin himself says, "they are actually suitable for anyone who enjoys an active lifestyle."
Samelin has been manufacturing hiking boots for over 20 years, and to many, Samelin is known as a manufacturer of quality hiking boots.
The hiking boots are made of waterproof nubuck leather and the inner lining is a 4-layer sock-like membrane system Topaz, which ensures waterproofness and breathability. The shoes have a two-layer Vibram sole, which is suitable for moving on both soft and hard surfaces. If you are not familiar with Vibram, it is the same in the world of hiking boots as Porsche or Ferrari - whichever you choose. The lace loops of the shoes are made of non-magnetic metal and the laces can be fixed at different heights. The inside of the shoes is shockproof, antibacterial, breathable and washable. The toe and heel of the shoe have protective rubber. The shoes in size 41 weigh 1.3 kg.
