Light brown 791, also known as Tarkovsky boots, are probably our most unique pair of shoes. The upper of the Tarkovsky boots is made from genuine water-repellent leather, and the high-quality sole is molded directly onto the upper. Since the Tarkovsky boots have no lining except for the genuine leather, we recommend wearing warm socks in cold weather. But the lack of lining means you can wear them even in summer. The Tarkovsky boots are named after film director Andrei Tarkovsky, whose film Stalker is one of our favorites. The Tarkovsky boots are made in Europe according to the NATO AQAP 2110 standard in the same factory that produces one of the most legendary military boots, the M77. So you can be sure of their military-grade quality and durability.
