The light brown 791, also known as the Tarkovsky boots, are probably our most unique pair of boots. The Tarkovsky boots have a genuine water-repellent leather upper and a high-quality sole molded directly into the upper. Since the Tarkovsky boots have no genuine leather except for the lining, we recommend wearing warm socks in freezing temperatures. But the lack of lining means you can still wear them in the summer. The Tarkovsky boots are named after the film director Andrei Tarkovsky , whose film Stalker is one of our favorite films. The Tarkovsky boots are manufactured in Europe to NATO AQAP 2110 standards in the same factory that produces one of the most legendary military boots, the M77. So you can be sure of their military-grade quality and durability.
We recommend choosing one size smaller, e.g. if you wear Nike size 41, our size 40 is excellent.
