Dark brown 791s, also known as Tarkovsky shoes, are probably our most unique pair of shoes. The upper of the Tarkovsky shoes is made from genuine water-repellent leather, and the high-quality sole is directly molded onto the upper. Since Tarkovsky shoes have no lining other than the genuine leather, we recommend wearing warmer socks in freezing weather. But the lack of lining means you can wear them even in summer. The Tarkovskys are named after film director Andrei Tarkovsky, whose movie Stalker is one of our favorites. Tarkovskys are made in Europe according to the NATO AQAP 2110 standard in the same factory that produces one of the most legendary military boots, the M77. So you can be sure they have military-grade quality and durability.

We recommend choosing one size smaller, for example, if you normally wear size 41, our size 40 shoes will fit excellently.
