The 517, or Aviator Boots, are sensible, unisex ankle boots made of water-repellent leather that are suitable for use everywhere, in the city and in the forest, and in all kinds of weather. They’re made in Europe according to NATO AQAP 2110 standards in the same factory that makes one of the most legendary military boots, the M77. The same manufacturer has also worked with well-known brands such as Dr. Martens and Rossignol . So we assure you that they will last longer and are of higher quality than similar, more expensive “fashion boots” in your local shoe store. Since the Aviators don’t have a lining other than genuine leather, we recommend wearing warm socks in cold weather.
