The 517 aka Aviator Boots, are sturdy unisex ankle boots made of water-repellent leather that are suitable for anywhere, in the city and in the forest, and in all weather conditions. They are made in Europe according to the NATO AQAP 2110 standard in the same factory that makes one of the most legendary military boots, the M77. The same manufacturer has also worked with well-known brands, including Dr. Martens and Rossignol . So we assure you that they will last longer and are of higher quality than similar, more expensive “fashion boots” in your local shoe store. Since the Aviator boots have no lining other than real leather, we recommend wearing warm socks in freezing weather. The black Aviators are the standard shoes of Annamari, one of the founders of whatshoes. The Aviators are shipped to you directly from the factory.
